REGIONAL GEOLOGY / LOCATION RATIONALE
Prime Mining Location with Historic Resource Finds:The Bullamalito tenement is in the Lachlan Fold Belt and located to the south of Goulburn NSW. It is approximately 20km north of the Woodlawn lead-zinc, gold-silver-copper deposit and contains the same geological formation.
Research-based Selection:The area was selected based on magnetic, radiometric and gravity data over a known porphyry system.
Significant anomaly indicating relationship with Woodlawn Formation:The tenement is located over an interpreted collapsed caldera in the Woodlawn Volcanics. The caldera may have been the source of the Woodlawn Formation. There is a gravity anomaly associated with the caldera and the area was investigated as part of the regional exploration when Woodlawn was discovered.
Previous Exploration Results Not Developed:During previous work programs a bedrock INPUT conductor was ocated on the south side of the caldera that was not followed up.
TARGETS
Woodlawn equivalent deposits as well as epithermal gold targets.
Input EM bedrock conductor indicative of base metal mineralisation.
Circular magnetic feature typical of a collapsed caldera.
STATUS & COMPANY GOALS
Equivalent global resource to Woodlawn in NSW, currently 20 Mt @1.5% Cu, 4% Pb, 10% Zn, 0.5g/t Au and 85g/t Ag.
Seek high grade base metal mineralisation within rocks similar to those at Woodlawn.
