Exploration Manager

Steve has over 10 years of active experience as a field geologist exploring for gold, uranium, magnetite, copper, lead, zinc, nickel, tin and tantalum in Australia, Fiji and Vanuatu.

Steve has worked for majors such as BHP, Newcrest and numerous other small to medium companies managing a variety of projects developing and implementing successful exploration strategies.

Mining & Operations Manager

Garry is qualified Mining Engineer with over thirty five years experience in operating and developing mining projects.

He holds degrees in Mining Engineering, Mineral Economics, and a Masters Degree in Engineering and Technology Management. He also holds first Class Mine Managers Certificates in WA and QLD.

He is a fellow of the Australasian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy, and a member of the Board of Registered Professional Engineers of Queensland. He is also a qualified Justice of the Peace.

His working life has been spent in a variety of underground, open cut and dredge mining operations, and includes a period as an advisor and consultant to industry and Government in developing new mining operations.

He currently lives in Cairns and works as General Manager Operations & Mining for the Altius Mining Ltd, and is responsible for the development of the new Forsayth gold operation.
